Follett Extended Family Photos: April 17, 2011

I've been lucky to follow the Follett family over the past few years as they've added two beautiful boys to their family and was very excited when Lindsay asked me to take extended family photos when her sister was in town from England.

We headed down to Fort Langley (such a beautiful location!) and I was a little nervous at first considering Greysons' reaction to our last photoshoot but, it seemed clear, after the first batch of photos that he was ready to co-operate!

Here are some of those first family shots!

From this spot we moved on to the big orange and black trains that were a highlight for Greyson. We did some smaller groupings here and tried not to overstay our welcome with Greyson! Greyson & Piersons' Aunty Kim and Christoph were in town so we got some shots of the two of them as well!

They are such a beautiful couple so I had to post this one as well!

Aunty Kim had just met Pierson for the first time so I made sure to snap some photos of her with her beautiful nephews!

We were also happy to get some of Grandma and Grandpa with the boys and Pierson was SO smiley!

It was so great to see Lindsay with her sister and parents so we made sure we got some of the 3 lovely ladies of the family and some of just the four of them! Such a nice memory :)

These ladies are so beautiful and it was fun to watch the 'Brownlee' family interact!

On our way to the next location, we saw the train go by and I was able to snap some pictures of Greyson as he was fully enamored by it! What a cutie!

We headed down to the water but snapped some pics at another great location along the way and Greyson was still participating! At this point, I think we'd already been shooting for an hour and I was amazed at how well Greyson did!

Here are some more of my favorites down by the water!

And some more!

At this point we were getting close to the two hour mark but all of the family was doing a great job of keeping Greyson entertained!

It was finally time to let Greyson call it a day but, before we did so, I was able to get some shots of him and his mom!

What a great day! Beautiful weather, co-operative kidlets and a wonderful family to work with.

Thanks Follett & Brownlee families! It was my pleasure :)

Follett Family of 4: Nov 21, 2010

With the birth of their second little guy, Pierson, I was so happy to be able to take some photos of the new Follett family of four!

Here are some of the adorable little man!

Greyson was super excited that I was coming over and was great during Pierson's photos but, once we went outside he decided that he was deathly against having his photo taken so I had a challenge in front of me ;)

We ended up getting a few of Mark and  Lindsay separately with Pierson and then just tried to give Greyson some time to warm up to the idea!

Thank goodness for favorite stuffies and little tricks like that or we may not have got any photos with Greyson in them this time around! Here's one final family one and I'm looking forward to getting Greyson back on my side for future photo shoots!

Lafleur Family: Nov.20, 2010

We've had the pleasure of getting to know Ali & Spencer as part of our church family and I was so pleased when they asked me to take family photos for them in November.

Just a new family of 4, here are some of the family shots we were able to get:

Their youngest, Juliet wasn't very old at this point and I was amazed at how well she fared in the particularly cold weather!

Both girls were amazing at looking at the camera the whole time and I barely heard a peep out of either of them! Here are some pictures of the beautiful Lafleur girls!

I had such a great time photographing this family and I hope to be able to do some more shots for them in the future! Thanks Lafleur family :)

Zacher Family: Oct 24, 2010

The Zachers are wonderful friends and I have had so much fun watching their family grow and change over the years. After doing some newborn shots for Bridget back in April of last year, it was great to have a chance to take some updated family photos for them at Derby Reach. It was quite cold out but the kids did so well and we narrowly avoided the rain! Even though it was a short session, we got some great shots!

Thanks Zachers!

We were fighting against the impending rain but we got some great family ones and then moved on to photos of the kids!

Val & Ed have such beautiful babies and it's been so fun watching Daniel grow from a baby to where he's at now. I can't wait to watch Bridget grow as well! She's such a beautiful girl already :)

Before the rain started we managed to get some photos of Val & Ed with their kidlets and then headed off to McDonalds to enjoy some lunch together. Mmmmmm! Thanks again Val and Ed for your friendship and the privilege of helping you photograph your growing family!

Follett Family; Oct.3, 2010

I have had the pleasure of working with Mark at LSS for a number of years and have enjoyed getting together with him and his wife on a few occasions. Their son, Greyson, was born only days apart from Benjamin and I was able to take some family photos for them when he was almost a year old. Now,  as they're expecting their second little one any time now,  I had a great time photographing their family of 3 at her parents place in Abbotsford. Her parents have a gorgeous acreage and there were so many great places to take pictures including a classic car in their front yard that Greyson is obsessed with!

They are such a beautiful family and I'm so fortunate to help them record these precious memories.

After snapping some pics in front of the classic car, we were able to get some family shots before heading to another one of Greyson's favorite locations at his Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Greyson LOVES the John Deere tractor at Grandma and Grandpa's and has a routine of riding the tractor down to the end of the street to watch the school bus every day so we got some photos in the tractor :)

Greyson is so lucky to have daycare at his grandparents house and, even though he was very much done with the photos, I still love this photo below with him and his grandparents. I think it captures the reality of a two year old perfectly (having one at home I am all too familiar with it!).

Greyson was definitely done with photos at this point and here are two final ones to end off the shoot!

Thanks again for letting me be a part of your families' memories!
